GENESI 
An innovation hub for digital health and neuroscience
GEMINI and GENESI represent a nationwide research and innovation network, co-funded by the European Union under the National Programme for Research, Innovation and Competitiveness 2021–2027, promoted by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT).
Bringing together universities, research institutes, IRCCS (Scientific Institutes for Research, Hospitalization and Healthcare), and businesses, they foster the development and enhancement of advanced technologies, translational research, and the transfer of innovation in support of neurosciences, precision medicine, and digital health.
Built on the synergy of RAISE & MNESYS
This initiative builds directly on the synergistic valorization of skills and achievements developed within two major PNRR initiatives: the RAISE Innovation Ecosystem (Robotics and AI for Socio-economic Empowerment) and the MNESYS Extended Partnership (A multiscale integrated approach to the study of the nervous system in health and disease).
Together, we merge artificial intelligence, clinical robotics, and advanced neuroscience to accelerate technology transfer into regional and national healthcare systems.
