GENESI is co-organizing the 19th edition of OrBItaly – Organic Bioelectronics Italy, bringing together the national and international bioelectronics community to discuss emerging technologies at the interface of electronics, advanced materials, and the life sciences.
Hosted at the historic Convitto Palmieri in Lecce, OrBItaly 2026 provides a collaborative forum for researchers, clinicians, and technology developers to present recent advances in organic and bioelectronic materials and explore their potential for next-generation healthcare technologies.
The scientific programme spans topics ranging from organic and flexible electronics, biosensors, and neural technologies to wearable systems, photonics, and advanced materials. The conference is organized by the Center for Biomolecular Nanotechnologies of the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT-CBN) and the Institute of Nanotechnology of the National Research Council (CNR-NANOTEC), with GENESI actively co-organizing as part of its mission to bridge cutting-edge laboratory research with real-world applications in neuroscience, precision medicine, and digital health.
