The Center develops materials and technologies to design biologically inspired platforms and systems for biomedical applications. Our activities address key challenges in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and clinical sectors, while fostering interdisciplinary collaborations among researchers from both academia and industry. The Center hosts more than 1,200 m² of laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation for the synthesis, fabrication, and characterization of material platforms and devices, as well as advanced cell culture facilities for in vitro testing and the fabrication of organotypic tissues.
